In search of missing ufologist with stamp
March 7, 2013 Today the Royal Swedish Mail introduced a new postage stamp titled "Gesichter der Schweiz" (meaning "People searched for in Sweden"). The stamp shows 111 persons that mysteriously disappeared during the last six months, among them famous ufologist Dr. Roland Korg (2nd picture in 4th row, click on image to enlarge). "We hope to recover some or all of the missing people with the help of this tiny wanted poster", a spokesman said. But we have serious doubts that even a powerful magnifying glass can help in this case. Probably the whole lot is happily travelling through remote space at this very moment, together with the Blues Horror Brigade.
No gigs in 2012?
August 23, 2012 After excessive touring to promote "Live on Titan" album last year, the Blues Horror Brigade had no public appearence for a long time. Are the boys busy tinkering in the studio? Oli Hofer, label manager: "Got no idea what they're up to. I've tried in vain to contact them for ages to discuss important matters like the inevitable rerelease of LoT due to the sustained demand in all these New Age ashrams round the globe. Possibly the guys have left our planet for good." — A terrible vision and awful news for BHB fans!
Cash, hallelujah
March 18, 2012 Bahamas: As the local Planetary Chief Manager of the Blues Horror Brigade on earth, I'm awaiting a check from backstageradio.ch for the band's appearance on the "Best of 2011" sampler. And I consider wether to embezzle the money this time. What good is wasting it on hookers again and yet another truck load of white rubber boots?
Ups and Downs
January 25, 2012 New Zealand: There's an old belarussian saying "It is the successful that get copied". How flattered where we when we discovered the first pirated .rar copy of "Live on Titan" in the file sharing cloud (see proof image). Right there, spread our word!
What a setback that megaupload.com was shut down and Dotcom arrested.
"Wahrschauer" discloses intimate inside details
October 1, 2011 Germany/Austria/Switzerland: The music magazine "Wahrschauer" catches their readers off guard by compromising confidential background context on the Blues Horror Brigade. Moreover, the band is featured on the enclosed Wahrschauer-CD-Compilation #60 with their smash hit "Porka Gripo (Apocalypso)". Now we fear the conspiracy is at risk.

Daniel Hemmann dead
August 25, 2011 We are sad to hear that underestimated Swiss science fiction writer Daniel Hemmann is dead. In his prophetic visions he foresaw the appearance of the Blues Horror Brigade in the solar system years before they arrived. May Rock'n'Roll be with him now.
Blues Horror Brigade infiltrates German subculture media
August 2, 2011 German alternative mags and radios are showing much interest in the Blues Horror Brigade lately. Despite CD reviews (see "Live on Titan - What other people say" further down), interviews and airplay (e.g. on Rockradio.de), the true nature of the alien gang remains uncertain to some point.
Blues Horror Brigade big in Switzerland
April 4, 2011 Listeners of national Swiss radio Backstageradio have voted "Bubbles" by the Blues Horror Brigade for Download of the month. Well done, thank you for playing the song over and over again.

Durchgeknallt vom ersten Takt an. (…)

(…) Mehr Lo-Fi-Lo-Budget geht definitiv nicht.

Blues Horror Brigade - Bubbles
This is a video clip for the song "Bubbles" that had been written on the day Michael Jackson left Earth for Space... the footage has been captured when the aliens made an appearance in Emmental, Switzerland, August 2010...
Unapproved video clips on YouTube
April 11, 2011 Some unknown boot legger has released several retro space rock video clips starring full songs by the Blues Horror Brigade on YouTube without asking for authorization of the sound track. Clearly an illegal act. Well, of course we think that's great!
